Hello, my name is Katlin Tuckett and I live in Northern Utah with my husband and two little girls. I have a six year old and a three year old. I love all things animals and always have since I was little. Both me and my husband grew up with all sorts of livestock and both showed in our local 4-H fairs with sheep, pigs, and cattle. My husband also grew up on a zoo with all sorts of exotic animals, cougars, elephants, wolves, monkeys, you name it and I'm sure they had it. We are both experienced with having animals our whole lives. I have owned bassets for 11 years although my husband has grown up with them his entire life. I can credit his family for my addiction to the droopy ears and baggy skin.
I have spent a lot of time learning about the breed and am still continuing to learn. I am working towards bettering the breed and breeding to the standard. All of my dogs have been genetically tested and triple cleared for the following from Paw Print Genetics: Primary Open Angle Glaucoma (Basset Hound Type) Aliases: POAG, Severe Combined Immunodeficiency Disease, X -Linked (Basset Hound Type) Aliases: XSCID, Thrombopathia (Basset Hound Type).

I pride myself in taking exceptional care of my dogs and puppies. Our dogs are first and foremost a part of our family. They come inside our home and are spoiled rotten with treats, bones, and lots of love. We make sure that our dogs are well socialized as well as their puppies. Our puppies spend time with us everyday being held and raised around my children and common household noises and commotion.
Puppies leave us between 8-10 weeks old and are examined by our local veterinarian. They will receive their first round of vaccinations, regular de-worming , AKC Limited Registration (all paperwork is done and paid for by me) and microchipping before going home.
